under the directions of General Officer Commanding of 65 Division Maj Gen K A W Kumarapperuma USP and under the supervision of commander 651 Brigade, troops of 20 (v) VIR provided their assistance in extinguishing an accidental fire at private education institute at 2000 hrs on 18 June 2019. The fire was assumed to be broken out due to an electric leakage and the troops rushed to the location on a requirement made by the head of the institute and also appreciated the invaluable effort made by troops.
