Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi expanding its humanitarian projects took steps to co-ordinate the donation programme at Mailwanapuram - school under the guidance of Major General H M J K Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi.
Troops of 14 Sri Lanka National Guard serving under the 572 Brigade with the support of the donors recently gave away school accessories includes of school bags and stationaries to 78 number of under-privileged students in a rural school in the Waddakachchi Divisional Education office area.
Mean time a stock of dry ration packs, worth of each Rs.2000.00 donated to the 58 number of widows in Mailvanapuram village.
General Officer Commanding, 57 Division Major General Pradeep de Silva, Commander 572 Brigade, Civil Affairs Officers of the SF HQ (KLN) and Commanding Officer of 14 SLNG, also attended in the distributing programs, along with students and widows of the Village.
