Troops of 57 Division in Kilinochchi recently took part in a few social welfare projects with the close coordination of civilians in the area.\r\n\r\n17th (V) Gajaba Regiment serving under 571 Brigade organized a Sharamadana campaign to renovate the Annai Sarada Devi School Road in Barathipuram area with the supervision of Major S M G Somathilake, Commanding Officer - 17th (V) Gajaba Regiment. Either side of road was cleared while dilapidated sections of the road were patched tomake it motor able for the vehicles.\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, same battalions organized an another Sharamadana campaign to clear the surrounding of Amman Kovil in Barathipuram with the participation of civilians in the area.
