57 DIVISION ORGANIZED A MEDICAL CLINIC AT VISUAMADU
57 Division conducted a medical clinic at Ramanadapuram Maha Vidyalaya under the leadership of Brigadier HJ Seneviratne RWP RSP, GOC 57 Division on 15 February 2014. A group of doctors from FRIDSOA an NGO operating in Kandy conducted the clinic where approximately 360 people attended. The clinic included an eye clinic, Dental clinic and General diseases clinic. 60 spectacles were distributed among needy patients and another 38 registered to receive spectacles which will be made and distributed in due course. The full day clinic benefited those who attended in many ways and thanks to FRIDSOA, GOC 57 Division and all others for their noble effort to assist the community in Kilinochchi.
