Under the guidance of Major General Pradeep de Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, and under the supervision of Colonel U L J S Perera RSP USP psc Commander 573 Brigade, a lecture on the topic of ‘negotiation’ was conducted from 1100 hours onward on 29 October 2019 at the Utility Building 57 Division.
The lecture was organized with the aim of discussing and enhancing the theoretical aspects on negotiations for officers in battalions. Since it is considered as vital factor in the present employment of the Sri Lanka Army. Dr. Stephen Pathmarajah who is a renowned person resides in United Kingdom provided the intellectual assistance to conducted the lecture. The General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Commander 571 Brigade and Commander 573 Brigade also attended for the lecture. 60 x Officers from SFHQ (KLN) and under command brigades and battalions of 57 Division participated in the lecture.
