Under the guidance of Major General B P S De Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division and the Commander 573 Brigade, a Blood Donation Programme was organized by 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, from 0800 hour to 1600 hour on 14 September 2019 at Battalion Headquarters, in order to mark the 63rd Battalion Day. 110 Army persons donated blood during the programme. The event was organized in coordination with District General Hospital Kilinochchi.
