57 DIVISION CONDUCTED THE SECURITY COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Under the guidance of Brigadier A S Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and under the supervision of Commander 571 Brigade the security committee meetings were arranged to discuss the prevailing security situations and the arrangements of ensuring the security of the Area of Responsibility with the participation of the civilians. 9 VIR organized the aforesaid meeting on 11 June 2019 at Krishnapuram and 7 SLLI organized the meeting on 8 June 2019 at Selvanagar. The General Officer Commanding 57 Division, the Commander 571 Brigade and respective Battalion Commanders participated for the meetings and discussed the matter with members of vigilant committees of the areas.
