Under the guidance of Major General B P S de Silva RSP, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, the troops of 572 Brigade conducted a Dengue Prevention Campaign on 11 January 2020 in Vishwamadu West GN Division. In that, mosquitoes breeding places were identified and made an awareness campaign for the villagers to prevent creating such places. Identified places were cleaned. 2 Officers and 50 soldiers from 572 Brigade Headquarter, 6 Battalion of Sri Lanka Singe Regiment and 14 Battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard were participated in the programme along with the Public Health Inspector of Visuwamadu, Grama Niladari and Police Officers from Dharmapuram Police Station.
