The Baskeball players of the 24th Battalion Gemunu Watch emerged champioms in the Inter Battalion Basketball Tournament of the Security Forces Kilinochchi, concluded on 24 September 2015 at the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nThe 57 Division Basketball team clinched the runner – up position in the tournament during the final match, played between the 24 GW team and the 57 Div.\r\n \r\nMajor General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander SF HQ (KLN) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away trophies and certificates to the winning and runner up teams. The tournament was organized by 57 Division along with 573 Brigade under the guidance of Security Force Headquarters (KLN) with the intention of promoting affability and competitiveness of the troops in the area. General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks and attended for the event. \r\n
