1st BATTALION SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT CELEBRATE 59TH ANNIVESARY BY UNVEILING A NEW STUPA
1st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment celebrated its 59th Anniversary with several religious and walfare activities on 30 September 2015 at battalion headquarters in Paranthan.\r\n\r\nIn parrarel to this programme newly constructed stupa and new elecracity system was declared open by Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc Commander Security Forces Klininochchi.The stupa was constructed by 1 SLSR troops under supervision of Lt Col R P Munipura RWP Commanding Officer 1 SLSR.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 65 Division, Deputy General Officer Commanding 57 Division Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers,Officers and Other Ranks attended this ceremony.\r\n
