The closing address of Battalion Training of 19th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, under 65 Division was held at 0900 hr on 30 Sep 2019 at Battalion Training School Mulankavil with the participation of GOC 65 Division, Maj Gen KAW Kumarapperuma USP as the Chief Guest. The course was conducted from 15.08.2019 to 30.09.2019 at BTS Mulankavil with the participation of 10 x 293 Officers and Other ranks.
O/67461 Lt BVSS Chathuranga RSP was awarded the trophy for the Best Overall Performance. Meanwhile A Coy adjudged the Best Company by achieving 112279.05 Marks out of 16200 Marks with an average of 69.30 %. Further, S/318441 Cpl Sujith Kumara MN belongs to C Coy clinched the title for the Best Marksman. The Battalion’s achievement in gaining a high aggregate percentage of over 85% was also praised by the chief guest.
