Troops of 57 Division under Security Force Kilinochchi, distributed over 2000 saplings among civilians in Thirunagar area to encourage the growth habit and to boost their day to day living standards on 23 March 2018.
Under the patronage of 1st Sri Lanka Singha Regiment and Rahulan Preschool in Sivapuram over 200 selected civilians from Sivapuram area received 800 Jack saplings and 200 Kumbuk saplings.
Meanwhile, troops of 7th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment distributed over 1000 Jack saplings, 150 Madhuca Long Folia saplings and 1000 other plants among 100 civilians at the GS Office at Thirunagar.
