In line with the noble initiative of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, together with the honorable President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Light Infantry Mrs. Darshani Yahampath, a timely sermon was delivered on 25 November 2025 at the Sri Bodhirajarama Viharaya by Venerable Kagama Sirinanda Thero. The sermon aimed to address curtail family issues arise due to drugs, online gambling and social media related family issues which are the growing concerns in today’s society posing significant risks to the community well-being.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Commander Security force (West) and senior officers of SLLI, senior members including the president of SVB of SLLI, Other Ranks of SLLI and regiments units stationed at the Army cantonment and family members were attended for the event.
