Under the guidance of the Commader of Security Forces (Central) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP NDU psc and under the supervision of the chairperson of the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Darshanee Yahampath a housing project has been Implemented.
This programme is being implemented for the war heroes who are in active service and have not completed the constrution of their house. As wel as in this programme the financial assistance given by the SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch and labor assistance Provide from respective Battalions. As a second stage newly constructed house of S/17D00505 L/cpl Narasinha NDCC was declared open by president of Seva Vanitha Branch SLLI and Senior members of Seva Vanitha Branch on 27 october 2024.
Senior Officers and other Ranks of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 2(v) SLLI Participated in the occasion.
