The Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized a traditional festival for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year – 2024 on 10 April 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters premises with the participation of serving members and their families. Major General Mihidu Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, the Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army ,Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry and Overlooking Director General General Staff together with president of Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Wajira Perera graced the occasion as the chief guest and they were received by Col Ruwan Siriwardana RSP, the Centre Commandant Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
