SLLI Team Wins 6th consecutive Overall Championship of National Para Athletic Meet.

The Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) Para Athletic Team secured the overall championship of the National Para Athletic Meet 2022 organized by the National Para Athletic Federation. The Athletic Meet was held on 28 and 29 June 2022 at Sugathadasa Stadium Colombo. Around hundred of sportsmen representing from 28 teams participated in this Athletic Meet. Athletes of the team SLLI won 14 Gold medals, 13 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze medals and secured the championship as 6th consecutive times in the history.

This unprecedented and excellent performances for crowning and flourishing in the field Para Athletic to be written with golden digits in the nation para athletic history. The Chief of Staff of Sri Lanks Army and Colonel of the Regiment SLLI together with all Officers and Other ranks extended warms congratulations to the team SLLI.
