Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Light Infantry extended its support for Army housing project by donating 1.8 million rupees recently to fulfill the dreams of six more Light Infantry differently abled war heroes.
Accordingly, S/316622 Colour Sergeant Anura Dinesh NH from 11 SLLI, S/310082 Sergeant Pushpakumara HVPS from 1 SLLI, S/311767 Lance Corporal Ranasinghe RALP from 19 SLLI, S/319247 Lance Corporal Pushpakumara EMR from 11 SLLI, S/320512 Lance Corporal Premalal MPS from 19 SLLI and S/01386 Lance Corporal Gunapala TM from 16 (V) SLLI received newly built six houses at Bibila, Homagama, Anuradhapura, Kuruwita and Mahiyanganaya areas.
Mrs Dhananjani Karunasekara, the Hon. President of SevaVanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Light Infantry who is always keen in providing assistance to uplift the life standards of differently abled war heroes coincided with the mega housing project launched by Army as construction works need more funds. Further, members of Seva Vanitha Branch continued their assistance by supervising the construction until it was completed and ready for award.
