THREE MORE LIGHT INFANTRY WAR HEROES RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry while extending their generosity towards "RanaViru Welfare" offered more cash donations to needy SLLI war heroes recently.

Three SLLI war heroes namely S/2k01134 private Piyasiri K, S/319096 Corporal Jayathilake AM and Lance Corporal Pushpa Kumara were offered cash donations worth Rs. 50,000/=, Rs. 50,000/= and Rs.20,000/= respectively by Mrs. Damayanthi Ratnayake, the Hon. President Seva Vanitha Sri Lanka Light Infantry Branch on15 October 2011.

Those war heroes had sought assistance in a letter to Seva Vanitha SLLI Branch in order to meet some of their medical requirements and so, the Seva Vantiha SLLI ladies promptly paid their attention.

Mrs. Srimathi Abrew, a senior Seva Vanitha SLLI lady also joined with Hon. President Seva Vanitha SLLI Branch in a brief meeting at her office to make donations to those needy war heroes.
