The grand opening ceremony of the renewed WO's & Sgt's Mess at the RHQ SLLI held on 30 Jan 18. The Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army also Col of the Regt Major General KADA Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
On arrival, Chief Guest was welcomed by WO I MGS Mahesh Kumara RSM RHQ SLLI including all of Snr NCOS belong to SLLI.
After declared opene the renewed WO's & Sgt's Mess Lt Gen HV Athukorala VSV psc FBIM entered to the mess with Col of the Regt.
Former Army Commanders, Gen SHS Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc and Gen RMD Rathnayaka (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc along with lots of serving and retired Senior Officers, Retired RSMs, RHQ RSM and SNCOS participated event to be success.
Meanwhile, with the presence of President Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Dananjani Karunasekara conducted a social gathering with members of the Seva Vanitha Branch at the Officers Mess.
