THE 66TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY ASSOCIATION
The 66th Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Association was held on 19th March 2017 at 0930 hrs at the Regimental Headquarters premises. The Hon. President, Maj Gen TTR de Silva (retd) RWP RSP VSV USP psc presided the meeting and many retired senior Officers, Officers and more than 500 Ex-service members participated. Key appointment holders of the association were re-elected by the members. Col of the Regt, Maj Gen KADA Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc and number of serving Officers participated for the meeting and Col of the Regt handed over the cheque worth 1.1 million rupees to strengthen the welfare projects of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Association. This money was donated from the profit received from Pabala Mela Carnival 2016.
