Buglers at the Asian Karate Championships - 2015 at Yokohama, Japan.

Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment Karate team is undergoing training, in the 23 SLLI battalion at Mullaitivu since year 2014. Within the very short period of time, under mentioned soldiers became the championships from the Group Kata (Black belt) event in the National Karate Championships- 2015. It is one and only Gold medal which Sri Lanka Army could win in the tournament. \r\n\r\n S/327468 L/Cpl Kumara SAMDP\r\n S/330701 L/Cpl Dilshan EAN\r\n S/327452 Pte Sampath VTUN\r\n\r\nThe chief instructor of the \"Shito-Ryu Shukokai\" Association of Sri Lanka, Sensei Lionel Saparamadu and Sensei Wasantha Senevirathne are the couches for this team. Training is conducting under the supervision of 23 SLLI battalion Commander - Lt Col S Wijesiriwardane RWP RSP SLLI. \r\n\r\nThis three man team is participating for the 13th Asian Karate Championship in Japan from 31 Aug 2015 to 07 Sep 2015. The Col of the Regiment, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and all Ranks of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment wish to our participants to achieve the best results.
