Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Athletic Meet 2015 was held at Diyagama Mahinda Rajapakse sports ground on 14, 15 and 16 July 2015 with the participation of over 600 athletes representing men\'s and women\'s. The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest.\r\n\r\nSri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment became the Runner-Up with four new Volunteer Meet records,\r\n\r\na. 2/Lt RPW Dayaratne SLLI - Javelin (74:28 M)\r\nb. 800 m X 4 Relay - (7:29:8)\r\nc.
