As per the direction given by the commander of the army Officers Training day of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment was conducted at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda. Col of the regt Maj Gen K A D A Karunasekara RSP USP ndu psc start the programme by delivering the opening address.\r\n\r\nOfficers in the rank of capt and below participated in PT and drill session which was taken place at the regimental PT and drill ground respectively.\r\n\r\nMorning session of the programme spare for the lecture and presentation. First lecture was conducted by the Mr. Rukmal De Silva who is the lecturer of the KDU conducted a lecture under the topic of \"leadership and behavior of the military officer\". Second lecture was conducted by the Dr. Nirmali Sirisoma under the topic of \"How to build a successful academic path?\"\r\n\r\nAfter the central lunch evening lecture was conducted by the Lt Col SC Karunarathne(retd) RSP SLLI under the topic of \"Life is a Gift\".\r\n\r\nIn the evening officers get together was held at the officers mess RHQ SLLI. \r\n\r\nIncluding Col of the Regmt, council members, senior officers and other officers altogether 141 officers participated for the officers\' training day programme which was highly success and all the officers were immensely benefited through the sessions and it gave an opportunity for the officers to interact with the senior officers and intellectuals. \r\n
