Sri Lanka light infantry regiment organized a New Year festival at Army cantonment Panagoda on 10 April 2014. The colonel of the regiment Major General Amal Karunasekara with the president SLLI seva vanitha branch Mrs. Dananjani Karunasekara grace the occasion as the chief guest of the event. The council members including officers and ORs of the SLLI with their families took part at the New Year celebrations.
