USA YOUNG OFFICER CADETS VISIT SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY
A group of young Officer Cadets touring Sri Lanka as part of their Officers training programme made a goodwill visit to the Regimental Center Sri Lanka Light Infantry on 25th, 30th May and 06th June respectively.
The whole group of young Officer cadets destined to become future military leaders in USA visited the regimental center in three batches and interacted with the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Officers and men to know about their first hand experiences in terrorism and insights on armed conflicts.
On arrival, Brigadier MM Kithsiri RWP RSP USP, the Center Commandant Sri Lanka Light Infantry warmly welcomed the visiting young Officer Cadets to the home of infantry besides other staff Officers.
The day long tour was very warm and educating to both the visiting USA young Officer Cadets and the Officers and men in the Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
