Time to say Good Bye... Kandula VII, the Regimental Mascot of Sri Lanka Light Infantry
A farewell military parade for KANDULA VII was held at Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Centre on 31 December 2014. The Centre Commandant Brigadier ChannaWeerasuriya RSP received the guard of honour during the parade which was accorded to the KANDULA VII. \r\n\r\nThe successor to KANDULA VII, a baby elephant named as KANDULA VIII also marched at the farewell parade.\r\n
