REGIMENTAL HEAD QUARTERS SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY BECOMES THE RUNNERS UP OF INTER REGIMENT DRILL COMPETITION
The Inter Regiment Drill Competition which is holding annually by the Sri Lanka Army had been held on 17 Oct 2016 at the Parade Ground of Artillery Regiment Panagoda from where the Sri Lanka Light Infantry had won the second place and was also awarded with several trophies and certificates. Many senior officers including the Commanders of the Army, Navy and Air force and many senior officers were presented to grace the occasion. Prize giving was held on 24 Nov 2016 which has been graced by the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hetttiarachchi as the chief guest.
