Under the guidance of the president of Sri Lanka Light Infantry - Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Vajira Perera, a cassava Dansala was organized at Panagoda to celebrate the Poson festival on 21 June 2024.
Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Quarter Master General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of SLLI, commenced the dansala programme. A large number of civilians living around the area attended the dansala. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this event.
