OPENING CEREMONY OF NEWLY BUILT HOUSE

Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Light Infantry handed over a newly built house to family of late Cpl Gunrathne DM on 29 April 2016 at Bemmulla, Gampaha.

Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Light Infantry contributed one million and fifty thousand rupees while troops of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry provided man power.

Colonel of the Regiment, Major General KADA Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc declared opened the house on the invitation of Mrs Dananjani Karunasekara, Hon. President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Light Infantry, at the auspicious time, amid of pirith chanting. Deputy Centre Commandant, Colonel GMN Perera RWP RSP, Commanding Officer 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Lieutenant Colonel MPSP Kulasekara RWP RSP SLLI, other Staff Officers of RHQ and members of Seva Vanitha Branch also participated for this event.
