The newly appointed Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Brigadier WKSPMRAB Dodamwela psc assumed duties as the 30th Centre Commandant of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Light Infantry on 01st March 2025 at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Light Infantry, Panagoda.
The newly appointed Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers’, Officers and Staff Officers and greeted in a Guard Turnout and a ceremonial parade by troops of the Regiment. Afterwards, he signed an official document, symbolizing the formal acceptance of the office amidst the blessings of the Maha Sangha. In addition to that, the Centre Commandant participated to the events of Wreath-laying at the War Heroes Monument and followed by the Troops address.
The event was culminated with the Staff Officers’ briefing to the newly appointed Centre Commandant at the Conference Hall.
