A GREAT CONTRIBUTION TO THE WAR HEROES FROM THE SLLI SEVA VANITHA UNIT
The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna) and Colonel of the Regiment, and Mrs. Darshani Yahampath, President of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch, has generously donated 700 water bottles to the medical clinic organized by the Headquarters of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Centre.
In a special event held on 21th January 2025 at the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Centre in Panagoda, a symbolic presentation of these water bottles was made to the Commandant of the Department of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Centre. The occasion was attended by the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, senior members, staff officers, and other ranks of the Regimental Centre, who collectively contributed to this noble cause. This donation marks the Seva Vanitha Branch's continued commitment to supporting medical and welfare initiatives that enhance the well-being of individuals in need. The water bottles will be distributed to those attending the medical clinic, providing them with a much-needed resource for their health and comfort.
