FELICITATION PARADE TO NEWLY PROMOTED MAJ GEN ALSK PERERA RWP RSP USP NDU
RHQ SLLI held a felicitation parade to welcome newly promoted Maj Gen ALSK Perera RWP RSP USP ndu on 20 June 17 at the Regtl parade ground.
A Guard Turnout at the main gate greeted him and thereafter he took salute of the Guard of Honour consisted with Regtl Colours and the Mascot in conformity with military traditions.
After the military honours, he laid wreath at the War Heroes Monument to commemorate SLLI fallen war heroes. After that, he did not forget to share his thoughts with Officers, Other Rankers, and the ceremony culminated with an all ranks tea party. Council members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Rankers attended for this proud event.
