The Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch has organized a Dhamma Sermon on the occasion of Wesak Poya day. The Damma Sermon was organized to wish nirvana to the fallen war heroes, to wish speedy recovery for the members of SLLI who are under treatment due to Wounded in Action and to wish good health and blessings for the active members, civil servants in SLLI and their family members.
The sermon was delivered by Ven. Induragare Dhammarathna thero of the Dunagaha Sri Jethawanaramaya, the professor of Kelaniya University on 28 May 2022 (Saturday) at auditorium regimental centre Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
The programme was conducted on the directions and guidance of the Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Light Infantry Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu and the supervision of Mrs. Shiromala Kodithuwakku the president of SLLI Seva Vanitha Branch. The Regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier Krishantha Pieris, senior staff officers, officers, RSM, Warrant Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Servants were present for the programme.
