A Comprehensive and Fruitful Lecture on Drug Abuse and Prevention within the Army
In the context of drug abuse that has escalated in rocketing high has been reported, offently. Being as a developing country, it could merely be observed that different ethics and norms other than the poor education including unawareness of the effects after consumption of banded drugs have led for the exploitation within the society.
Despite, direction was issued by the Centre Commandant, SLLI to educate subordinates in a fruitful lecture by obtaining assistances from a professional body where contribution was made by Sub Inspector S M Premarathne along crew department from narcotic branch at Colombo. 5 Officers and 250 ORs participated for this lecture.
