Brigadier MM Kithsiri RWP RSP was appointed as the Director of Psychology Directorate of Sri Lanka Army

The former Commandant of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment Brigadier MM Kithsiri RWP RSP USP was appointed as Director of the Psychology Directorate of Army Headquarters. He was played a vital role as a Commandant of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment from 14th May 2015 to 01st of January 2019. He commenced duties as a 24th Commandant of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment.

The senior officer who was performed a respectful duty and he was greeted to a Guard Turnout in front of the main entrance and honoured in a colourful parade. Afterwards, he was offered floral tributes to the Ranaviru Monument in the Regiment's gardens and accompanied to the customary tea table which was filled with typical new year food varieties and other sweetmeats in the Sergeant mess.

This senior officer made a keynote address on the role of protecting the dignity of the infantry and expressed gratitude to all the officials who are dedicated to the success of the regimental centre.
