BIDS FAREWELL WITH THE HONOUR TO MAJOR GENERAL MTKR SILVA KSP

Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Light Infantry hosted a colorful farewell parade to Major General MTKR Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on 22 April 2024. He took the Farewell Salute at the Home of Light Infantry upon his retirement from the service after outstanding and illustrious military career spanning over three decades.

The day, ceremony was commenced with a customary Guard Turn out, Guard of honour, Floral tribute to the War heroes monument, Troop address followed by the all ranks tea. The event was organized under the guidance of Major General GMN Perera RWP RSP USP ndc Quarter Master General of Sri Lanka Army, Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry and Overlooking Director General General Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.

Members of the Regimental Council, Over Looking Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Commanding Officers and staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters attended for this ceremony.
