THE 65TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY ASSOCIATION
The 65th Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Association was held on 27 March 2016 at 0900 hrs at the Regimental Headquarters premises. Maj Gen TTR de Silva (retd) RWP RSP USP psc presided the meeting and retired senior Officers, Officers and more than 500 Ex-service members participated. Key appointment holders of the association were reelected by the members. Col of the Regt, Maj Gen KADA Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc participated for the meeting and handed over the cheque worth Rs.4557600.00. The amount is part of battalions\' commitment in selling lotteries towards the construction of holiday bungalow in Kataragama.
