Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ - Central) recently conducted a program aimed at distributing dates to Haputale, Diyatalawa and Kahagolla Jummah Masjids on 24 February 2025. This initiative was organized to support the Muslim community in preparation for the upcoming fasting season.
In collaboration with a generous philanthropist, Diyatalawa coordinated the provision of the required stock of dates. Each Masjid received 20Kg of dates, ensuring a significant contribution to the community's needs. Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP, the Commander, SF (Central) and Col of the Regiment Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, along with several Senior Officers were present at the occasion.
