ASSUMING DUTIES AS THE 15th COMMANDING OFFICER OF 7th BATTALION THE VIJAYABAHU INFANTRY REGIMENT

Maj A L D R Arawwala psc assumed duties as 15th Commanding Officer of 7th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 31st July 2025 at 7th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment ALLARAI with a formal military ceremony.

Newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by Maj H M K S Herath psc the Second in Command and saluted with the Guard Turnout. The Commanding Officer symbolically placed his signature for an official document amidst religious blessings to signify the acceptance of the duties. Second in Command, all Officers and Other ranks attended the occasion.
