THE COMMANDANT OF THE VOLUNTEER FORCE VISITS 4 (VOLUNTEER) SRI LANKA ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS

The 4 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps ( 4 (V) SLAOC) that is precisely formed for military stores and materials, was paid a formal visit by Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG – the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 09 November 2024 .

The Commandant was received by Major H M C C B Herath – the Commanding Officer, 4 (V) SLAOC, and a drive past salutation was accorded in honour of his arrival to the camp premises.

The visit was stretched with scheduled formalities, and the ordnance was inspected by the Commandant with necessary accounts and parameters.

The senior officer placed a complimentary note of appreciation in the Visitors’ Book to the memory of his visit.

The event was attended by senior officers, officers and other ranks who represented the Headquarters SLAVF and 4 (V) SLAOC.
