SOLDIERS EDUCATE ON PERTINENT TOPIC

With a view of educating soldiers on present context of the country, the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force organized a training day lecture on ‘Legal Background on Crimes and Drugs in contemporary SriLanka’ under the guidelines of the Commandant SLAVF, Major General D K S K Dolage USP nps psc and the close supervision of the Deputy Commandant (Overlooking)-SLAVF, Brigadier B M R J Bandara at the Multi-functional Hall on 12 March 2025.

The lecture was conducted by Mr. K A D Roshantha,Chief Inspectorof Police who renders his service at Police Station, Kosgama. As a well experienced officer in police service, he precisely explained the background of perpetrators, drug dealers and the causes behind the crime scenes. Moreover, he spotlighted that the importance of not involvingcrimes and drug dealings since it is tarnishing the image of soldiering.

A gathering of senior officers, officers and other ranks presented the lecture.
