CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY OF PRODUCTIVITY AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT COURSE HELD AT HQ SLAVF

The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force organized a certificate awarding ceremony of Productivity and Process Improvement Course on 25 November 2025 at HQ SLAVF.

Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and the officials of National Productivity Secretariat participated as the guests.

The course was designed with the auspices of National Productivity Secretariat with an intention of imparting the knowledge to apply 5S concept at the working stations.

Military Personnel consisting of 12 officers and 119 other ranks who followed the Productivity and Process Improvement Course conducted at HQ SLAVF premises from 27 October 2025 to 31 October 2025 were awarded with certificates.

A brief video clip regarding the course was displayed on the screen and introduction speech delivered by Mr. J.D Niranja S. Jayakodi, the Director of National Productivity Secretariat.

The certificates were awarded by the Commandant SLAVF, Brigadier (Administration) -SLAVF, Brigadier (Logistics)- SLAVF, Mr. J.D Niranja S. Jayakodi, the Director, National Productivity Secretariat and Mr. Sugath Dissanayaka, Productivity Advisor of the National Productivity Secretariat.

As the Final segment of the ceremony, Colonel M G G W R Gamage, Colonel Training of SLAVF delivered a thanking speech.

The ceremony also featured captivating dancing items that added colour and vibrancy to the occasion.
