AWARENESS LECTURE ON SAVING LIVES THROUGH FIRST AID

Coincide with training day programme, a lecture on Basic First Aid was delivered by Warrant Officer 1 W M D Gunathilaka 2 (V) SLAMC who serves as the In charge of Medical Inspection Room, Headquarters, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force on 23 April 2025 at Multifunctional Hall, HQ SLAVF.

During his lecture, he shared knowledge on immediate basic medical care given to someone who had insect stings, fractures and poisonous before professional help arrives with a purpose of preserving life and preventing the condition from worsening.

The lecture was attended by Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters.
