SLASC ELLE TEAM’S WIN INTER REGIMENT ELLE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

The Army Inter Regiment Elle Championship - 2024 concluded on 25 October 2024 at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium.

Twelve regimental team’s competed in the tournament, leading to the final clash between Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) and Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) team. After a closely contested match, SLASC Team claimed the title.

Major General Nilantha Premarathna, Chairman, Sri Lanka Army Elle Committee and Chief of Staff of OCDS, the Chief Guest, along with other Senior Officers, presented awards and trophies to the teams. Accordingly, S/K100602 Corporal Jayarathne RASH of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps was awarded as the Best player of the Elle Tournament.

The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Elle Team’s victory in the finals was a testament to their excellent teamwork, dedication and training.
