SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS CONDUCT BODHI POOJA ON 106TH ANNIVERSARY

Sri Lanka Army Service Corps organized a Bodhi Pooja on 30 October 2024 at the Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya for the 106th Anniversary of SLASC.

Master General Ordnance and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Major General AK Rajapakshe RSP and The President of SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, graced the occasion as the Chief Guests.

Venerable Rathnapure Dhammaissara Thero, Chief Incumbent at Weyangoda Mottunna Kireetarama Temple conducted a sermon for the troops and invoked merits on fallen War Heroes and blessings on disable soldiers, serving Army personnel and their family members.

This was organized under the guidance of Col SDNC De Silva, Centre Commandant SLASC and Mrs. Deepika De Silva, Secretary SLASC SVB.

Major General EMGA Ambanpola, Director General Supply and Transport and Mrs. Maduwanthi Ambanpola, Vice President of SLASC SVB together with many officers, other ranks, civilians and members of SLASC SVB participated in day's religious programme.
