A one-day Administrative Assistant Training Workshop was successfully conducted at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 15 September 2025, under the supervision of Brigadier DPK Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc, the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.
The primary objective of this workshop was to enhance the knowledge, efficiency and confidence of administrative personnel, while motivating them to perform their duties more effectively and professionally.
Lectures and practical sessions were conducted by Chief Instructor, Senior Instructor and well experienced instructors from the Army Service Corps School, Tissawewa. During the workshop, participants gained valuable insights into the latest updates in office procedures and modern administrative techniques. Major General KTP de Silva RSP ndu psc, The Adjutant General of the Army Headquarters and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring and meaningful lecture, emphasizing the importance of the workshop and its relevance to enhancing administrative professionalism within the Corps.
The workshop, attended by 66 other ranks from Regimental Centre - SLASC, provided participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge that will contribute to improved administrative standards across the Corps.
