OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY AND DINERS’ CLUB OF SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS

The Officers’ Training Day and Diners’ Club was successfully conducted on 24 December 2025 at the Regimental Centre. The Adjutant General and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, along with Senior Officers and Officers, participated in the training day programme.

The day commenced with morning Physical Training, which was conducted to enhance physical ability and team spirit among Officers.

The first lecture of the programme was delivered by Colonel RM Balasooriya USP - Director of Internal Audit, on the topic of Audit Procedures and Prevention of Misappropriation of Funds.

The lecture highlighted proper financial management practices, audit responsibilities, and preventive measures to ensure transparency and accountability within military institutions.

The second lecture was conducted by Lieutenant Colonel DM Jayasinghe Lsc, SO 1(OCPC) - Regimental Centre, on Officers' Career Planning. This lecture focused on career development, professional growth, and effective planning within the military service. Officers gained valuable guidance on managing their careers, enhancing professional skills, and preparing for future responsibilities.

Major General MDUV Gunathilake (Retd) ndu USACGSC was the geust lecturer for the diners' club.The lecture covered Stress Management and Personal Motivation in Military Life, emphasizing mental resilience, positive thinking, and maintaining motivation under any conditions.

The trainning day reflected the Sri Lanka Army Service Corp’s commitment to continuous learning, discipline, and the team spirit of Officers.
