ESSENTIAL SCHOOL ITEMS AND DRY RATION DONATION PROGRAM BY SLASC - SVB

Under the guidance of The President of SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse, The Annual Seva Vanitha program of the 5 SLASC was held at ASC school, Thisawewa on 3rd August 2024. during the programme school equipment were donated to the Children of the 5 SLASC Soldiers and Dry ration packs were donated to the Civil staff working at 5 SLASC Palaly.

This program was launched under the supervision of Maj ERS de Silva Lsc, Commanding Officer - 5 SLASC and Mrs. Inoshi Fernando.

During the programme Maj (Dr.) Shanika Halangoda, Acting Consultant on Chemical Pathology who is a member of the SLASC Seva Vanitha branch conducted a medical awareness lecture on ‘Nutrition and Childhood Development’.

Subsequently, all children and parents were treated with a delicious lunch. At the end of the event, the President Mrs Chandi Rajapakse also visited the yoghurt project which is maintained by the 3 SLASC.
