THE 3RD SRI LANKA ARMY SERVICE CORPS RENOVATED AND DECLARED OPEN WAGGONERS HOLIDAY BUNGALOW AND MEDAL AWARDING CEREMONY FOR LATE S/579152 CPL DESHAPRIYA MGL

Sri Lanka Army Service Corps under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Regiment of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Lt Col KCK Jayasinghe psc Lsc SLASC with the contribution of all Ranks, renovated ‘Waggoners’ Holiday Bungalow (Thisawewa) under the guidance of The Master General Ordnance & Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Major General AK Rajapakse RSP and Centre Commandant Brigadier NASN Nanumiarachi. It was inaugurated by The Master General Ordnance & Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Major General AK Rajapakse RSP on the auspicious occasion of 28th September 2024.

Simultaneously medal awarding ceremony was conducted for the S/579152 CPL Deshapriya MGL person who passed away during united nations peace keeping mission in Mali. For that The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Major General AK Rajapakse RSP was presented DAG HAMMARSK JOID Medal for his family members. The President of the SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Chandi Rajapakse presented Dry ration pack and the school accessories to his spouse and his child.
