A special Programme to honour academic excellence among the children of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Personnel was held on 08 November 2025, under the direction and guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni ) and Colonel Commadant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Major General K M P S B Kulathunga RSP ndc psc. The event was conducted under the close supervision of Mrs. Anushani Kulathunga, President of the SLAMC Seva Vanitha Branch.
The programme featured the distribution of school supplies and gift vouchers to 66 children of serving and retired officers, Other Ranks, Civil Staff and Civil Employees of the SLAMC who successfully passed the grade 5 Scholarship examination in 2024.
This initiative was made possible through the generous financial contributions and dedicated coordination of the SLAMC Seva Vanitha Branch, with the objective of encouraging and supporting the academic pursuits of the children.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the President Seva Vanitha Branch,senior members, senior officers, including the Centre Commandant of the SLAMC Regimental Centre, reflecting the collective commitment of the Corps towards nurturing the educational aspirations of its extended family.
